One good thing about living in Japan is that in summer there are many fireworks displays. You should check out some of my fireworks photos.

25 October. The fifth graders had to do a bit more than just running around the track. I could touch the second from left (2.6m, I think). I probably could touch the highest one with a bit of practice. ;-Þ
Fisheye lens still on the camera....

19 October School had (yet another) Open Day today. Here's looking down in the atrium, where the blue tarpaulin was laid out for the parents/visitors to put their outside shoes. They bring their own slippers.
IT IS kind of annoying, this business of inside/outside shoes: I had to go out to my car to get things three times during the lunch-break, which meant changing shoes three times...
THE long table has new library books on it, the small table has potatoes and sweet potatoes on display; the other table has name tags for the parents.

01 October 2007 These are in the entrance foyer at one of my schools. They're been there for a couple of weeks. Usually there is also a display of flowers, but not today. I think they have interesting textures and colours.
Neat Imaged and then usual kind of processing, nothing out of the ordinary.
